Meet Kathy Stanton

Kindergarten

Mrs. Stanton brings a strong background in elementary education and homeschooling to Liberty Oaks Academy.

She graduated from Columbia International University with degrees in Bible and elementary education. Kathy taught second grade in Pelion and third grade in Clover before spending 17 years homeschooling her daughters and directing a homeschool co-op in Anderson.

That combination of classroom and homeschool experience gives Kathy a thoughtful, student-centered approach to kindergarten. She enjoys building strong academic foundations while helping young students grow in confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Kathy and her husband, Danny, have been married for more than 25 years and have two daughters. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, crocheting, spending time with family, and Diet Coke.

We’re glad to have Kathy partnering with our families and giving our youngest students such a strong start.

Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Stanton!
